From The Collection Of...

May 1, 2026 — July 26, 2026 | Katharine B Sutphin Gallery | CAMi

Curator: Shauta Marsh
If someone loves contemporary art enough to help create CAMi, what kind of work do they surround themselves with? To find out, curator Shauta Marsh visited the homes of several donors and asked to borrow these works to share. This exhibit features pieces from the collections of Jeremy Efroymson; Howard Schrott and Diana Mutz; Joanna Nixon; Diane and George Seybert; Charlie and Peggy Sutphin; and a couple who wish to remain anonymous.

The selections range from the namesake of this gallery — artist Katharine B. Sutphin — to an unknown artist's chip art made from fruit crates, to significant local, regional, and national artists: Barb Bondy, Bing Davis, Samuel Levi Jones, Jesse Robinson, Casey Roberts, and Samuel Vasquez — Korean artist Grace Eunshin Kim—and all the way to Richard Serra, one of the most celebrated contemporary artists in the world.
